There is hope for children with PFD
Although pediatric feeding disorder (PFD) affects more than 1 in 37 children under the age of 5 in the United States each year, the broad spectrum of pediatric feeding struggles have long been underserved and misunderstood. Fortunately, for children who suffer from pediatric feeding disorder, the paradigm is shifting.
Established in 2006 by Shannon Goldwater, Feeding Matters is the first organization in the world uniting families, professionals, and the broader community to bring global change to the system of care through advocacy, education, support, and research – including the unifying term and diagnostic criteria for pediatric feeding disorder.
"I think you provide a crucial service and help vulnerable kids and families, and I always root for you. I'm so glad you exist at all. You're a unique and wonderful resource for our families. Thank you for all you do. I think you matter, and matter a lot." - Feeding Matters Family
